SP-2008 - 7 Day Special Denali Adventure - Anchorage - Talkeetna - Denali
7 Days - 6 Nights. Choose optional activities to customize this plan. This specially priced package is sold as written and includes the following elements:

	Talkeetna
	Iditarod Headquarters
	Denali National Park Tour
	Quality, inspected lodging. Private Bath. Breakfast included at B&Bs
	All taxes, fees, and admissions

Airfare, fuel, meals other than those listed, gratuities, and personal expenses are not included.

Day 1. Anchorage - Arrive by your own arrangement into the Land of the Midnight Sun. After picking up your rental car, you have free time to get settled into your Anchorage accommodations, get over your jet lag, and maybe enough time to see some of the sights and sounds of the city. It is rare that you will arrive in Anchorage too early on your first day, but if you do, we provide a list of activities with your plan just in case. Your overnight accommodations in Anchorage will be at a select bed and breakfast .

Day 2. Anchorage - Today explore the Alaska Native Heritage Center. Afterwards you'll have free time to explore more of Anchorage. A list of wonderful choices is included in your package, most of which are free. Your overnight accommodations are at the same B&B.

Day 3. Anchorage to Talkeetna - Sleep great and after a super breakfast, make an early morning departure for the scenic drive up the Parks Highway Talkeetna. Stop at the historic Athabaskan Indian village of Eklutna and then into the Mat-Su Valley. In Wasilla tour the Iditarod Dog Sled Race Headquarters and take an optional dog sled rice. Arrive in Talkeetna late afternoon. Overnight accommodations in Talkeetna provided in a select bed and breakfast.

Day 4. Talkeetna to Denali - Early this morning enjoy your free time exploring Talkeetna. Your early afternoon drive north takes you through the high country into Denali National Park. Overnight at one of the area's cabin accommodations in Denali or the nearby town of Healy.

Day 5. Denali - Today includes a full day guided tour through Denali National Park on the park's transportation systems. Your day will be fascinating as you quest for the “big four” -- grizzlies, moose, caribou, and Dahl sheep. Overnight in Denali once again at your select cabin accommodations.

Day 6. Denali to Anchorage - Today return to Anchorage stopping along the way to take in what you missed on the way up. Tonight once again stay in a great Anchorage B&B.

Day 7. Anchorage - Your last day in Anchorage can be spent resting, shopping, or catching up on some of the local sights before meeting up with your return home or continuing arrangements.

This specially priced package is sold as written and priced per adult based on double occupancy. Multiple parties traveling together and sharing one vehicle may enjoy additional savings.
