Two Hour Denali Alaska Tour
Your
exciting trip will begin aboard the fifty-one passenger "Talkeetna Queen"
as it whisks you into the heart of the wilderness in comfort. This is the
most technologically advanced river jetboat in Alaska designed to safely
navigate rivers that were previously inaccessible. It is glass-domed,
environmentally controlled, and has an onboard restroom for your comfort.
Upon
arriving at our Safari sight you will take a 1/4 mile leisurely nature
walk where you will see a Dena'ina Indian Encampment. You will visit an
authentic trapper’s cabin with its original furnishings and view how
trappers lived in "Bush" Alaska at the turn of the century. Your
experienced guide will display raw furs from the local area and
demonstrate trapping methods. Naturalists will acquaint you with the
wildflowers and plants that grow in abundance along the river system and
you will learn about the edible plants that were used by the Native
Indians for cooking and medicines.
As you travel ten miles of river you
will have opportunities to view nesting bald eagles, beaver activity, and
moose and you just might see black bear and grizzly bear roaming the
shore.

Don’t
miss the Scenic-Three Rivers Tour! Your exciting trip will begin aboard
the “Talkeetna Queen” as it whisks you into the heart of the wilderness in
comfort. These are the most technologically advanced river jetboats in
Alaska designed to safely navigate rivers that were previously

The trip will take you on three rivers: the Talkeetna,
Chulitna, and Susitna. You will go through the Chulitna River Gorge and
experience Class 2 and 3 whitewater. During the 1/4 mile leisurely nature
walk you will see a Dena'ina Indian
Encampment and visit an authentic trappers cabin
with its rustic furnishings and see how they lived in the “Bush” at the
turn of the century. You will also visit a replicated native encampment.
You will be served a selection of hot beverages (hot chocolate, coffee,
and tea) and locally baked chocolate chip cookies.
This
trip includes a stop at an amazingly large uninhabitated Beaver Lodge you
will be able to see right inside of the lodge from below the water line.

will travel 130 miles round trip through Denali State Park and into the
National Wild River Park of "Devil’s Gorge" where only a few have
ventured.
