Take off from the world's largest seaplane base for a spectacular seaplane adventure! Discover the Chugach Mountain Range, its secluded valleys and the Dall sheep that live on its steep slopes. Soar over Captain James Cook's Turnagain Inlet in search of beluga whales. View the greater Anchorage area in its setting between mountains and water and listen as your experienced Alaskan bush pilot relates some interesting facts about Alaska.

Denali National Park Flightseeing Tour

Our most popular air tour. This flight takes you within six miles of McKinley's 20,320 ft. summit. Fly over the foothills of Denali to view the entire length of the Ruth Glacier, the Great Gorge (at over 9,000 feet, the world's deepest) and the massive south face of McKinley, where you may spot climbers headed to the summit. Make a photo-stop landing on a remote lake before returning to Anchorage.

Prince William Sound Glacier Tour

Prince William Sound is a magnificent region with over fifteen thousand square miles of fjords and inlets, dozens of tidewater glaciers and rugged mountain peaks. The sound's clear sea waters produce a rich marine life. Spot for Humpback or Killer whales, seals, eagles, otters and black bear. Make a photo-stop landing at a secluded cove. As an option, extend your tour by one-half hour and see Columbia Glacier, Prince William Sound's largest tidewater glacier. Then fly to Glacier Island to view sea lions sunning themselves on the rocky coastline.

Knik Glacier & Wildlife Tour

Your flight will take you over the expansive Knik Glacier rimmed with spectacular hanging glaciers. Sense the motion of the ice and see how it has shaped the land, then fly over the Colony Glacier to Lake George where it spills into the winding Knik Glacier Gorge. Spot mountain goats and moose. Or extend your tour by 45 minutes to add a landing for refreshments at a lakeside inn.

Iditarod Tour

This unique view of the world renowned sled dog race offers you the opportunity to see the real Alaska, the Iditarod racers and their dog teams competing in the "Last Great Race" from Anchorage to Nome. On the Monday morning after the official start on Saturday, you fly to the Finger Lake Iditarod checkpoint to watch the sled dog teams pass through on the Iditarod trail. You will enjoy a picnic lunch while observing the mushers and the dogs up close! This is a full day experience and our office can advise you on appropriate clothing for the tour. Watch for dog teams as you fly over sections of the trail on your return to Anchorage.

We offer other custom winter tour itineraries related to the Iditarod and other dog racing options including winter lodge visits with dog mushing options. Please call our office to arrange for your custom tour.
