One Day Car Rental
Taxis to and from just about
any part of Anchorage to any other part of Anchorage are costly. A
10 minute trip can easily run up to $30. Getting around Anchorage by
public bus is time consuming and the schedules often don't allow for much
free time. Waits at bus stops can often run up to 45 minutes.
While walking is certainly an option downtown, there are
an incredible number of opportunities well beyond the downtown sector that
will require a rental car. A single day rental can
be a very cost effective and wonderful way to include options you had not
considered. Economy sized vehicles with unlimited mileage range from
$25 to $50 in the winter and $45 to $80 in the summer. Both airport
and off airport locations are available and some of our rental agencies
offer pickup and drop off service.
